About us
Mediterranuts was founded in 2014 as a project to support almond producers in the lands of Poniente. He inherited the project from the Sendrós Family who since 1964 have been buying and breaking almonds from nearby producers.
Mediterranunts has been growing and evolving. Currently, the members of the group are farmers, agricultural technicians and entrepreneurs from the West, South, Central Catalonia and the Strip.
We are producers, we break and process at the two centers located in La Granadella and Lleida to offer all varieties of skinned, peeled and processed almonds.
We process the almonds and ensure that we maintain a high quality standard. Process control and traceability are key elements to obtain good results. Experience, knowledge and continuous improvement allow us to obtain selected almonds with excellent organoleptic characteristics.
The cultivation and distribution of the land’s product allows the social and sustainable development of our region. This project is proposed to provide production outlets to all sites in Europe. At ORIGEN we work to bring almonds closer to your home and to your workshops.
Fully dedicated to processing and production, we have become specialists in knowing almonds. Without losing sight of our origins, we combine the tradition of hard and methodical work in the fields with the “know-how” of new production methods.
